2D layers
for the hip
Based on the patient’s X-ray images, the 2D Hip planning software enables fast, accurate 2D surgical planning.
By superimposing prosthetic layers on scaled X-rays, it enables clear, simplified visualization of anatomical structures.
The aim is to make it easier to make decisions about surgery and implant selection.
2D Hip layers
Key benefits
Ease of use
Easily perform 2D planning by superimposing the selected implant tracing on the patient’s bone structure. The clear, intuitive interface makes it easy to get to grips with the software, facilitating surgery planning without technical complexity.
Easy integration
The 2D planner integrates easily on the PaaS platform provided by OneOrtho, without the need for complex hardware or training.
Secure access platform
Access the software via a secure web platform to quickly upload the patient’s X-ray. Once planning is complete, download the automatically generated planning report in PDF format.
Easy implant selection
Estimate the size of implants to be placed by superimposing layers on scaled radiological images.
Simulated 2D view of postoperative position
The position of the two implants thus determined provides an assessment of the post-operative length and offset difference.
Key features
X-ray image scaling, based on the known diameter of a sphere placed on the patient at the time of imaging.
The manufacturer’s implant library is available for the surgeon to determine the most appropriate range and size of prostheses for a given patient undergoing total hip arthroplasty.
A simple simulation of bone cutting.
Simulation of the final position of the bone structures associated with the implants determined.
Calculation of offset variation and length associated with prosthetic choices.
Several tools to calculate the exact distances and angles required for implant placement.
